Truffle Festival

Every year in January, the town of Sarlat and the Périgord Noir truffle-growers’ association organise the Truffle Festival. The event features a wide range of activities, including the ‘Trophée Jean Rougié’ cookery competition and Toque show, oenology courses, a prize-winning truffle market and truffle discovery workshops.

In addition, cookery courses will be offered throughout the weekend by the Culinary Academy of Foie Gras and Truffles. Open to all, they offer the chance to (re)discover local produce and perfect your culinary skills with the help of local chefs.
