    Frequently asked questions

Do you have any questions? You may find the answer in our FAQ :

    What time can we arrive?

We look forward to welcoming you from 5 pm to 8 pm. For organizational reasons, please respect these times. Should you need to arrive later, please contact us on +33 5 53 28 24 34.

    Can we park easily?

No problem at all. Our house has its own parking lot for up to 5 cars. Another parking lot less than 100 meters away is also available free of charge.

Is it possible to recharge my electric car?

Sorry, we don’t have a system for recharging your electric vehicle. You’ll find charging stations 5km away at the Lecler parking lot in Sarlat.

Is it possible to come with young children?

Of course, children are welcome. Our house has a family suite, Ambre, with 2 bedrooms for up to 5 people.

Our triple room Veronica can accommodate 3 people with 2 beds (1 bed 180×200 and 1 bed 120×190).

For babies, it’s possible to rent a cot, which we install in your room. If you come with a baby, a double room is sufficient.

Is it possible to bring our pet?

We regret, but we no longer accept animals for the respect of our guests and the maintenance of our house, following bad experiences. It’s a pity because we love animals.

    Where can we eat?

Four evenings a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays), we invite you to dine at our table d’hôtes (reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance).

A 5-minute walk from our house, we recommend the restaurant Le Centenaire, which offers good food at reasonable prices in a pleasant setting and with a friendly team. We can make reservations for you if you wish.

Depending on your budget, your appetite and your tastes, we can recommend good addresses in Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, Beynac, Domme… Don’t hesitate to contact us.

    What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served between 8:15 and 9:30 am. It is generally served as a self-service buffet. Up to 4 guests can be seated at the same table.

If you have to leave early, we can prepare a packed breakfast for you (on request by the day before).

Are there any hiking trails starting from your guesthouse?

Absolutely, there are several circuits from our house, including the Montfort loop.

As hikers ourselves, we can recommend a number of walks in the surrounding area.

Is there a Dordogne riverbank near you?

Indeed, our street is called “route de la plage de Caudon”. Less than 1 km away (15 minutes on foot), you’ll find a small beach where you can go swimming. You’ll also find the “Soleil Plage” canoe base, with whom we’ve partnered for a canoe or kayak trip down the Dordogne. We can also make reservations for you.

    Do you rent bicycles?

    No, we don’t rent bikes.

We have a partner in Carsac-Aillac, less than 10 km from our house, who rents very good equipment and is located directly on the greenway. This former railroad line has been converted into a cycle path, and offers 2 routes from Sarlat to Cazoulès or from Sarlat to Grolejac.

We can also recommend other routes for mountain biking or cycling.
