The Carsac water gardens
A walk among the water lilies and lotuses
The Carsac water gardens
On a site built in the 16th century, Les Water Gardens in Carsac offers you a superb place to stroll through various pools: still waters, waterfalls and streams. Luxuriant vegetation spreads over just over 3 hectares, where the stars are the lotus, flowers in a multitude of colours, and the water lilies, some classic, others more exotic.
At the turn of each pond, you’ll discover the charming little creatures that make up the life of the garden: frogs, gambusi, dragonflies, damselflies and magnificent koi carp that you can even feed.
After your walk, which will delight young and old alike, don’t hesitate to visit the garden’s nursery, especially if you’re looking for expert advice on how to create a beautiful water feature at home. You can also buy any plants you come across during your visit.
The Jardins d’Eau is just a few kilometres from our guest house and is open from 1 May to 15 October.
