A popular Occitan festival, the Ringueta is held on Whitsun weekend in Sarlat, only in even-numbered years. It’s a celebration of traditional games of yesteryear. On the Place de la Grande Riguaudie, visitors can try their hand at almost 30 games!

Rampeau”, “Rodéo tonneau”, “mât de Cocagne”, “jeu des Oies”, stilt-walking and tug-of-war are the most popular games. They’re a great way of bringing generations together to share a common passion for Occitan culture. What an atmosphere!
