Goose and duck farms

The breeding and force-feeding farms of the Périgord offer you the chance to discover their trade, from rearing through the different stages of maturity of the geese and ducks, the force-feeding demonstration and the visit to the processing workshop. Although the force-feeding part is sometimes dreaded, you don’t have to be there. You can make up for it by tasting the foie gras and rillettes, often accompanied by a glass of dry or sweet white wine.

During your stay, we can recommend a visit to one of these farms, the nearest of which is in the heart of the Cingle de Montfort, on a walnut plantation, one of the largest in Europe.
