Fest’oie, go on the discovery of goose !
Every year, Sarlat celebrates its local symbol ; goose ! Through the medieval city, you’ll find craftsmen and local producers on many demonstration and tasting stands, but also gaggle walking in the town…
This year, Sarlat Fest’oie will take place on the 7th and 8th March weekend.
The little extra ? A music group which animates streets of the town and liven things up ! Musicians animate the Saturday evening party “La bodeg’oie”, organized on the “Place de la Liberté”. Goose plates are proposed during the evening with potted meat, aiguillettes and hearts, cheese, nuts cake and Bergerac wine. Good to know : it’s organized under heated tents. One of the greatest party of Sarlat !
On Sunday, many activities will be proposed as the discovering of goslings, eggs decoration but also ancient games from the Ringueta association. A very good day in sight !
